The sausage itself was made with chicken and crispy chicken skins (yes, inside the sausage), spiced lightly and then dunked in Buffalo Wing sauce before served on the bun. We were brainstorming the idea of bringing back the Buffalo Chicken sausage to-go, but thought it'd be fun to put the power to dress your wings however you like 'em best! So... we've got the Chicken Wing sausage! Brush some BBQ sauce on it on the grill, toss it in teriyaki sauce, hot sauce, honey & garlic, however you like your wings best and you've got the sausage version of your favourite wings!
Please note: all sausages are smoked to ideal internal temperature before packaging. All you need to do is sear on both sides for 1 min and heat through on low. Shouldn't take more than 3-4 minutes per side!
